How to make a plane in top of 3Dviewport

Hi everyone,

 

For a presentation, I want to create 2 buttons on the top on my viewport for the customer to hide/show viewpoint or Annotations, i see the exemple files with vred for pushbuttons or checkbox.  I want to know if i can make a button with just a logo ??  i use a plane with png  and i want to assign my plane with variantset for my actions but how can i make my plane on top of 3dViewport?

Hi,

just add the Plane geometry as a child node to your active camera (in the Scenegraph). Then change the plane z translation so that it is in front of the camera. (Might be easier to look at this setup from the outside with a second camera, and by enabling the camera visualization, View > Show Cameras.)

Then assign a Touch Sensor with your Variant set to the plane.
