how to animate texture size in VRED ???

when i use the wizard it shows the difference between the 2 states i captured. but once i click preview or try to play the animation it does not change. it always keeps the last state.

to be specific im trying to animate:
material->bump texture->texture size

Not all attributes are animatable, texture size is one of them since it does not really make sense to animate it (the texture size represents the physical size of what is shown in the image you use as a texture, that does never change). You should animate the repeat values instead. If you really want to animate the texture size you will need to do it by writing a python script.
