Help with placing pattern

Hi,

I want to place the pattern you see below on my created cup, and I fail to postition it correctly.

The pattern shall surround the cup seamless and all-over with no repeats. How would you start? Shall I measure up the surface of the cup? Please advice hwo to manage in VRED....Tasse_11_Welle.pngTasse_Dekor.PNG

Hi,

I think you have to use uv maps.

In the vred YouTube channel you will find videos on how to manage material and textures

Also this video could help you.

Hi,

I am using the UV Editor, but he won't let mit sew the islands. I can unfold everything, but not select the separate pieces.

Does it depend on the tree structure on the left? Please help, because I want to go on...... I want to sew selected islands to fit in the pattern suitable.

below you can see the result. Which lights would you recommend?

What would be the best way the place the pattern?

Either divides in parts and then assigning to the walls?

Or assign the decal in one connected form?

<I also want to animate the box in form from moving the cap
