Anti aliasing/ Samples

Hey guys,

I've been working on VRED PRO 2020 and when I tried to improve my renderings by adding "Anti-aliasing". What happened, is that (as shown in the related pictures) some weird black dots started showing. I tried adding samples and turning off the denoiser to get that fixed, but it didn't. If you guys could help me with that, I would be very thankful.

Thank you. RenderRenderViewport ScreenshotViewport Screenshot

Hi, Antialiasing in RT start calculating of real light bounces and so shadows are created.

To manage the black pixelation in the render window you have to increase the Antialialis setting in Visualization - Realtime Antialiasing.

By Activating the denoiser in the Render Setting Panel (Deep Learning Always) could help to have a more "plain" image with less calculation

For rendered image you have to Increase the "Use image Samples" (and i advice to set the Adaptive Sampling to Highest Quality)

Use the denoiser to have a better image with less image samples.

in the render settings also check the illumination mode in Interactive and Still Frame. If you want always the best set Full Global Illumination.

Best

Chris

Hi, Thank you so much for your time. I applied the settings you told me. It helped me a lot with reducing the black dots. The issue was the resolution actually, once I increased it, the problem was solved.

Thank you.
