Zoom Variable.

I am trying to make slides of a number of files.
This will be an automated procedure.
The simple way would be to zoom extents and mslide.
However, I want to zoom extents and then zoom to about 120% of that to make the slide image nice and centered.
Is there a system variable that will tell me a number for the current zoom?
