Textual Xrefs list - Status (Loaded or Not Found) and Path

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to show a textual Xrefs list that includes the Status (Loaded or Not Found) and Path (see the image attached) inside the drawing.

I already used the expression $(xrefs,3) but it doesn't shows the Status (Loaded or Not Found), it only shows the path.

Could someone have an idea for do that?

Cheers,

ICárdenas

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Can you show me how you are entering this expression?  Your image shows "Loaded" and "not Found".

Hello John:

The image that I attached is the hypothetical form as I would like it to be shown when a reference is loaded or not found.  For the previous image I added manually the loaded and not found text.

I attached the image of the expression that I used.

I hope that you can help me.

Cheers,

ICárdenas

Use the REFERENCE MANAGER.

With this utility you can do that and even more!

@ВeekeeCZ "With this utility you can do that " I don't think so that you can create a text inside

your drawing with the information  of xrefname, xrefpath and xref state

(it is not possible except with a program extension, no ootb -way to get this information into a drawing object.)

Ok, you're right. My misreading. Thanks for the correction. But it would be nice and expected to have it though.

@Anonymous, sorry.

Dear all:

The main reason that I need  a routine to create a text inside my drawings with the information  of xrefname, xrefpath and xref state is for Quality Control. I have a big staff, many Xrefs files and a lot of DWG that dependes that each one will shows the correct information.

Thanks,
