@bvyas ,

What kind of text object is that? (Text, MText, AEC Label, .....)

Can you post an example dwg?

I can not do a lot without sample drawing.

What you can try is to use option Find and replace.

You can define your initial texts in a format (*) xxx' yyy" ......

And for search string to replace use *

Command: TCOUNT
Select objects: Specify opposite corner: 4 found
Select objects:
Sort selected objects by [X/Y/Select-order] <Y>: y
Specify starting number and increment (Start,increment) <1,1>:
Placement of numbers in text [Overwrite/Prefix/Suffix/Find&replace..] < Find&replace>: f
Enter search string <>: *
4 objects modified.

@bvyas ,

Since MText is very unique in the manner of which it formats text, we would need a sample dwg to be sure we can help you best.
