Separate room layouts - highlighted

In my company they want simple PDF's from all rooms separately from an existing DWG. So all rooms visible on 1 floorplan, and every room separately highlighted on various PDF's. (so they can link the PDF somewhere else)

So I made 2D polylines + hatch for every room. The hatches are different layers, so I make various layouts for every room and VP freeze the hatches I don't want.

Save the DWG with auto publish, and I have what I want... but... when a new room is added, a new layer is added, and yes its visible in all my existing layouts. (could be 100+ layouts for only 1 building).

I hoped for a "VP on" function, like "VP freeze" but that doesn't exist.

I could make "dummy" rooms in advance, but it's not ideal. 

Any other options? or ideas?

Bonjour @jonas_piettePCMQ4 

When you create a new layer, you can press the second button in the layer manager.

It will be frozen in existing layouts.
