Script to Lock AutoCad Drawing

I found this script someone uploaded before 9 years.

Script is attached here I want to learn how this script is working and what is trick behind we could not edit drawing after running command "Lockup"

For unlock we use command "undolockup"

Ah, the MINSERT method. Old-school but good. Should catch the lazy drafter unawares and very work well.

How does it hold up if the end user...

Select the MINSERT object, start FLATTEN command, when it asks you remove hidden lines, answer YES?

Or use available LISP, a CADALYST tip from 2007 and a C# routine from others that will explode a MINSERT?
