Randomly populate (scatter) a closed polyline

Hello.

I would need a lisp to randomly populate a closed polyline with selected objects.

I wish to create 10 different trees which would then be randomly distributed inside the closed polyline. Ideally the script would allow to set the density and would scale and rotate the objects inside given parameters.

If you are using 3DS Max - it has a nice "Scatter" tool which does right that.

Anything like this exists for Autocad?

I know CADStudio has a scatter script, but it doesn't work like I suggested.

You may check this:

Scatter blocks inside a polyline or some kind of spray tool for ACAD

@marko_ribar has written a script that do what you are asking for.

You may follow last few posts on above link, since you are not first with this problem.

He will probably answer to this post later.
