Radial Dimension Arrow head style

Hi Could really do with some help on this:

I have a need to have the arrow heads on the outside of dimension lines on a particular part of my drawings, I do this type of drawing a lot and don't want to mess around moving inidivisual elements. Attached is an image of what I mean . Ultimately I would like to set up a dimension style that allows me to do the black dimension not the red one (text on the black dim should be black!)

Thanks

Neil

Hi! I think you can do this but with some limitations.

You have to make User Arrow Block with the "handmade" "back_to_front" Arrow.

It will work for "normal" Dimensions like you show on your picture (when Arrows fit into the Dimension lines).

Alas otherwise your User Arrows will be moved INSIDE...

Welcome to these Forums!

You can force the text to be inside even when it would otherwise put it outside the extension lines because of insufficient space between them, with the DIMTIX System Variable.  But I don't think you can force it to go outside if it fits inside as a characteristic of a Dimension Style for linear Dimensions.

But in the case of radial [and diameter] Dimensions [in your Subject line, but not in your image], turning DIMTIX on does force the text to be outside the curve.
