qsave first sets proxygraphics = 0

I am seeing some odd Qsave behaviour.  On a couple machines whenever the user issues a qsave, AutoCAD first checks the proxygraphic set var.  I thought the users were issueing proxygraphics var before doing a qsave... but they are not.

has anyone seen this... ?   any ideas?

Possiblities may be:

1. Users may be clicking on an on-screen icon that contains a macro that checks Proxygraphics var & then runs Qsave

2. Users could have undefined Qsave command and defined it with their own which check Proxygraphics var

3. Test on those user machines by running the original Qsave command by preceding the command with a period: .Qsave
