Popup/Dialogue box not appearing on active screen

Hi!

I have a laptop with 2 external monitors running.  I use CAD on monitor #3, the laptop monitor is #1 (primary monitor).  I have this issue with AutoCAD 2023 where after applying the same custom settings I've been running for 5 or more years over multiple CAD versions, some popup and dialogue boxes are appearing on the laptop monitor.  I will add, making monitor #3 the primary does not resolve the issue, the popups and dialogue boxes continue to appear on the laptop monitor.

If I reset to default settings, the issue shifts and some popups work correctly, others don't.  I will add my custom settings are all available as tick boxes and options within the menus, no scripts or custom code.

Running my custom settings:

Options – not OK opens on laptop screen

Open file – not OK opens on laptop screen

Save as – not OK opens on laptop screen

Plot file  - OK -> preview -> cancel (back to plot dialogue) – not OK opens on laptop screen

Hatch -> settings – not ok opens on laptop screen

Enhanced attribute editor - not ok opens on laptop screen

Various ribbon commands, edit wire number, wire, all OK

Running default settings:

Options – first time using worked OK, second time not OK

Open file – not OK opens on laptop screen

Save as – OK

I've been dealing with Autodesk support for roughly 3 months and they are unable to assist and have pushed me to this forum telling me it is something to do with my customisations and they cannot help any further.

I've attached my settings file hoping that someone with more knowledge can review and provide assistance.

sometimes graphics cards come installed with graphics driver control panels that typically can force popup windows to appear on a certain display. Do you have this option?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, no.  I'm running an Intel card (not by choice, its provided) and only Nvidia and ATI have this functionality.

I have reached out to Intel and asked them if their drivers have this option, and they confirmed it is not an option.  They did conclude however that it would be a good idea to have this functionality and would look to include it in updates in the future. (a bit late to the party guys!).
