On a Non-Plot Layer? Only Option?

This is a long shot... and I probably know the answer.

Is there any other way to keep an object from printing... besides being on DefPoints, Non-Plot layer or Freezing?

I use a plot style with 0% screening for "wipeouts"  Only instead of using wipeouts I can use solid hatches, polylines w/ global width etc. as a wipeout.  It technically plots I suppose, but it's white.  Probably if you have the lines merge option on then it would just not plot but also not overwrite other lines.

You could also use HIDEOBJECTS.  Hidden objects don't plot either.

More humorous choices

1) Don't look at them.

2) Don't use the plot command.

3) Delete them.

4) Detach them.

5) Block them and use delete option

6) Turn off the viewport.

7) Mask over them with a wipeout.

8) Erase, plot, and oops.

9) Save, erase, plot, and quit.

10) Turn the layer off

11) Turn annoallvisible off and choose an unsupported scale for annotative objects.

12) Have a hard disk crash.

13) Pick up a virus and lose all your work

14) Let your granddaughter loose without supervision.

.......

Using hideobjects by the way only works within the edit session. Thankfully things reappear when reopened.  I always put things I don't want on non-plotting layers.  I use a unique color for non-plotting layers so that they stand out.

My favorite in a CTB Pen Table:

Assign a color (we use 11) to have a Grayscale ON and Screening 0%.

To make others think that this color will not print, assign layer Defpoints
to this very same color.
