Offset follow

Hi guys, I want to ask if is possible do something like this?

This is a common command "Offset" [M]ultiple

Take source Line/PLine and Offset many time, as you want.
But problem is, all distances are measured from source Line/PLine, not last one. In many cases would be more effective measure distance from last created Offset.

Basically, just change offset distance measure type.

Thank you for respond.

If your scaling off an image, did you rescale the image to get close to the true size ? This way if you say pick a distance can say display and change before offset, eg 25.87 use 25.

Are you trying to build new the same exactly then why not measure a real one, or just get some distances write down on a piece of paper. With say rounded values and use those.

Exactly, it's way more smooth than measure all distances separately on the paper or next to the drawing.
It little bit looks like macro :
measure distance (e.g. 472.7578) > type rounded number (470) > enter for next one > ...

Perfect, exactly this I want, thank you.

It's very nice see actual value, similar like dynamic input, but when type the value of offset (rounded) first number is skipped, is possible fix this?

unfortunately not, try <space> instead

It is a pity, so close to absolute perfect tool..

))) perfectness is mainly unreachable thing, but good tools are always there.

Sure, but this is so close.. Is possible add prefix to first letter (mentioned "space") ?

you seemed to misunderstand me. i meant that when you offset dynamically and see real distance, you can press <Space> to get the value of distance in get* function and then correct it to your needs.

I understand, but I want little bit hack it, when I start type correct value add prefix before "first pressed number" (press space) or press it twice. It could be a separate script, that runs concurrently with the offset_ lisp. Just simple overcome this defect.
