AutoCAD 2025.1.2
Many times I get files to use as Xrefs. Many of these files would come with nested Xrefs, block inside a block.
With my drawing, I normally create a Paper Space View Port, and have everything inside the View Port (in Model Space) to color 253, to print light, which shows existing properties. Since the Xrefs has some blocks inside a block, with some properties by color, changing the whole Xref to be By Layer will not work.
I remember coming across a LISP that will change all properties of a file, including block, to By Layer. I could not find where this file got saved; kinda careless of me. I spend so much time digging inside the received file to change everything to By Layer, by exploding everything. 😥.
To help out, am attaching a part of the file for any help I can get. My goal is to have everything in Model Space, or though the View Port to the Model Space, to be color 253.
Cheers
