LT2024: Automating a series of commands within a vast number of blocks

Hi All,

I have received some drawings which I need to do a substantial amount of work to in order to make them useful to me. They have been formatted in such a way that everything has been placed on Layer 0 and most of the drawing is comprised of blocks. The linework properties have largely been retained so I can use QSELECT for some of what I need to do but this does not 'look' inside of the blocks.

I have 1000+ blocks of very similar content which I need to separate into different layers and also add some linework to so I am hoping there may be a way to do this using a LISP but I have very little experience with them at all.

Attached is a sample of the blocks I am dealing with and the end result I am hoping to achieve which I have done manually by editing the individual block.

The steps I require in each block are;

Assign unique layers

Create internal offset

Label panel and zones

Join perimeter into continuous PLINE

Hopefully that makes sense, thanks in advance.

Do they have to remain as blocks ?

The Section A B C D is possibly the easiest task you have asked for same with internal label. The blue lines needs some thought, an exploded block would release a possible answer.
