The ByLayer.lsp file >here< contains commands [the BYS command for a User Selection] to do that for all but Transparency.  Are you capable of figuring out how to add that property in?

interesting but not what I am looking for.  I want a lisp that when I select an element that already has a color, ltype, etc. that is not bylayer it will change all of the properties to bylayer.

How is that different from what the BYS command does, other than [as mentioned] it doesn't yet include Transparency?

Thank you.
