LISP - Al's Steel Mill not working?

In previous jobs, where I was using AutoCAD regularly, I got to like "Al's Steel Mill" lisp plugin for drawing steel sections. I got away from AutoCAD for a few years, but am getting back into it. So on my new computer, I loaded a copy of the lisp and supporting files. It worked fine for about a week.

This week, I tried loading it and AutoCAD says it was loaded successfully, but I can't autually run it. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thanks!

Is the directory it is located in on your support files paths and trusted folders?

Yeah, I have the directory listed under the "Support File Search Path"...it's in the middle, but I don't know if moving it up would make a difference.

Hmmm...now that I've looked at it, even after I've supposedly loaded the app, the specific directory is NOT listed under the read-only "Working Support File Search Path"...I would expect to see it there...?

I put the folder in all three places if needed and move them to the top of the list.

OK. So I had my lisp folder listed at the top of the "Support File Search Path".

I also tried adding the folder to the "Trusted Locations" list.

STILL...that same folder would not appear in the "Working Support File Search Path".

I found this thread, which sounds exactly like the problem I was having...I copied my lisp files into one of the folders that was already listed in the "Working Support File Search Path"...and that WORKED for me.

So...I still have no idea why my original folder would not appear in the "Working Support File Search Path".

Special characters in that path?

- never heard about this as issue for that problem , but simple to check

Also a problem with only 10 supportpathes?

- never heard about this as issue for that problem , but simple to check
