ISO Steel Shape Routine

All,

I am in search of a LISP Routine that offers a dialogue for drawing various steel shapes. I have found a few different routines, but none of them are compatible with AutoCAD2017. I have the understanding that there are a few things that you can change in an older code to change the compatibility, to a newer CAD version. unfortunately I'm not savvy enough to modify the code to make it work.

I would prefer to have W, C, MC, Angle, and HSS shapes at my disposal. But I will take what I can get.

thanks,

You may find libraries of such shapes already drawn, such as >here< [I looked only closely enough to see that they have at least some such collections], so that you don't need a routine to draw them yourself.

1. Explictly, what indicated the 'compatibility?' 2. Where is that code you mentioned?

1. The Lisps wont work after being loaded and run. after reaching out to a more experienced draftsman, they said the LISP could be too old to be compatible with my current version of CAD. He said that the routine can be updated to get it to work with the newer version. but I do not know how to do that.

2. see attached. I also used a lisp (I have deleted) that had been titled "Al's Steel Mill" or something along those lines. I know they were both developed in 2001 and 2007 versions of CAD

Also check JTB Steel.

Not for free but a fairly small license fee and lot of options.

I test on 2018 plain ACAD and it work as need  ,  Of course I state by OPTION where the ACAD have to search for the DCL file.

You are welcome.

I have a say in Spanish.

"BASTA VER SIMPLE, PARA VER CLARO"

or as a free translation

"SEE SIMPLE, YOU WILL SEE CLEAR"

or the most, often, forgotten

"KISS"

Keep It Simple, Sir .
