lets say i have 3 lines,  each goes to a different direction the would create 2 triangles stuck together  (not nessesserily 90 degrees, but can be),

can i make a rectangle with the lines 'support' it, but the lines will NOT touch the corners ?             obviously, the rectangle can be on countless of different sizes and angle,       but i want to decide that.

is there a command to do it ?   obviously i can do it on the regular lines and offsets,  but im looking for shorter ways, if exist.

You should probably post an image to better visualize the issue.

I agree that an image would help us understand what you're looking for.  But on the chance that these might be at least related to it, I offer two routines in the same thread:

>Smallest Rectangle orthogonally oriented<

>Smallest Rectangle at any angle<
