I was once given a neat little sub program for AutoCAD that you set up to increment item numbers in sequential order with a single click, so whatever number you started with it would follow suit and become the next number in the path (so 1, 2, 3, 5, 17, 26, 50, would become 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 -- it also works with letters). A great little program that I use all the time. If anyone thinks they could use this, message me.
My question today is...
Does anyone know of a program/function that will increment by one, from the original number (so 1, 2, 3, 5, 17, 26, 50 becomes 2, 3, 4, 6, 18, 27, 51 OR if required, 0, 1, 2, 4, 16, 25, 49), so adding or subtracting 1 (or however many you set up) from the original number? This would be another useful tool for large multiple item drawings when 1 or 2 items are added at the last minute.
Thanks!
