I need help with linetypes

I am trying to create a line type containing some text. The issue is when I have the line to short, then the text is to close together. If I make the line longer I cannot see the text. is it somehow possible to have the line type made of elements or have text always visible somehow

I have attached the autocad file and line file for ease of reference.

Some notes to consider

(1) Placement of text in relation to the line irrelevant. Can be placed above, centered, below.

(2) For the spacing of the long txt line spacing irrelevant, but not close(scrunched up) like the short txt version. A length of 6(recommended minimum) is only a example. longer is better

(2)I am using the following as a guide for my grid

grid =0.5 (yellow lines on grid square)

major line=4 (red lines on grid square)(spacing of 2)

(3) blue lines comprise of text and individual lines

green line is the short txt version

white line is the long txt version

(4) Text height to be set to 0.75

(5) LTS(Line type scale)=1

As a work around I am aware that I could create a layer and set this to txt long, and then when the line is short override this by changing its properties to short txt.

Lastly, apologies if this is posted in wrong part of forum. If so could an admin move it to the correct part.

I couldn't open your file as the machine I'm on at the moment has 2017 on it. Don't know if this will get you where you want to be, but since I'm here I'll link it.  Here is a link to a nice linetype lisp to quickly make a linetype with text. It uses whatever text style you have active to make the linetype. You could use a couple different text styles for different length lines as a work around if you don't get another solution. I haven't used in a while but you can use multiple words in the line type by typing "." in command line before you enter the first word. I can't remember if it tells you that option in the command line or not. It might.

Hi WR

Probably not the answer you are after but...You could always change the LTSCALE of the line on longer lines?

However if you use PS with Viewports then setting PSLTSCALE to 1 would stop this problem.
