Hi @everyone

I have a problem, unfortunately I couldn't solve it with civil 3D!

I want to show the kilometre label on the layout taken from the model from the section view like this!?

Otherwise, i have to write manually for each layout separately!

You can create a separate pspace vport the size that shows that label and copy that vport into each layout you want that to be shown

@paullimapa Hi

What do you mean!? I haven't understood!

Actually, I am looking for to find a way to do it automatically because It might be too many layouts!

In any layout you need to use the Mview command to create a vport that looks into a view in model space. This is how you use layouts to see what you’ve drawn in Model tab for plotting. Share your drawing with this label in the model view and I can always create the layout vport for you looking at this label that’s in Model tab

But the solution I propose should be the same. I just cannot visually show you since I do not have Civil3d

@paullimapa this is not what I need it!

Actually, I have 50 layouts and there are 3 sections or kilometres in each layout I am looking for a lisp or something that takes kilometres from model space and shows in the layout for each layout separately!

I dont think you can do what you want with CIV3D I have not seen that label, the cross sections are a proxy type object which makes things complicated, AECC_GRAPH_SECTION_VIEW.

If you can output as Cad objects then a possible solution, is to go to each layout, jump into viewport and get the red chainage text take start & end, then write label. I have no idea where to start with the proxy object.

When making the cross sections need to make as Autocad objects. Should be in options, else there is a convert CIV3D objects to Acad objects. Then can do something.
