Eliminating Arc Extension Line and Leader Line Length

Is there a setting in AutoCAD 2008 to turn off the arc extension line when dimensioning? Also is there a setting for the length of the leader line? We have 2 computers running 2008, on one you can make the leader any length you want, on the other it is a fixed length.

For the extension on an arc you will have to suppress the extension lines. Best bet is to create a child style for radial and turn the extensions off there.

For the other question, you will want to experiment with DIMATFIT and DIMTMOVE

Suppressed extension line did not do what I wanted. Please see attached file to see results I am looking for. I am still not able to vary the leader length, I tried dimatfit and dimtmove.
