Is there a way to change the position where the grip hover menu will appear? cuz it often get in the way of the Dynamic Input dimension, depending on the angle of the line I'm measuring. If it's not possible to change the position, what about... the transparency? that not being possible too, would it be possible to change the distance of the measurement from the object? If I could like, double or tripple the offset from the line, then it wouldn't be covered by the menu.

I am not sure about the options you mentioned, but you can temporarily turn it off or toggle on/off.
On the command line in AutoCAD, type GRIPMULTIFUNCTIONAL and set the value to 1, toggle on off with CTRL.
Alternatively, go into Options, to the Selection tab, and disable the checkbox for "Show dynamic grip menu."
