We have a lisp routine to create a dynamic block count from an area selection the user specifies. Works great but is limited to just a few fields due to the nature of dynamic blocks with multiple disabilities and not being able to have multiple attributes of the same name in a single dynamic block without erroring out.
I'm now thinking there may be a way to import other attributes (ex. Manufacturer and Installer) from an external data file (like an Index/Match from excel) in addition to the visability name and block count it already shows from within the DWG. But my knowledge of lisp is quite limited. Any suggestions?
