CUI Carriage Return

Hi all,

I thought this would be simple but I can't find the solution myself. I'm customizing the Panels and I want a command to have a large image with vertically aligned text - that part was easy. The part that I can't work out is putting a carriage return into the text of the command (ie - look at multiline text in the home - annotation tab). When I look at the display name for this command I can see a character that looks like this [] (almost). I can cut and paste into word docs etc, but I can't cut and paste this character in the CUI! I have attached an image showing what I'm talking about. Does anybody have an answer to this?

button style large text (vertical) is what causes
that, you cant put a carage return in the description

style="PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 5px; MARGIN-LEFT: 5px; BORDER-LEFT: #000000 2px solid; MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px">

The Large Button Style doesn't cause a carriage return. If you have a really long name for the command it simply makes the button longer, but somewhere in autocad a carriage return code/character/symbol has been inserted if you have a look at the standard multiline text button on the ribbon. There has to be some way to insert this character.

I have actually duplicated the multiline text button and changed the command macro to keep the carriage return in the description but it's an overly long way to do things.

It does not seem to work anymore.  I tried it and the \n shows up in the display.

It does. Both \n or \r are possible.

Is there a particular way to type the \n or \r to the text?

I tried both and neither of them is working.
