Creating a non repeating linetype

I am looking to create a railing linetype as shown in the pictures. From what i was seeing, there is no way to make a linetype out of an object, and then specify the segment lenght. Is there a way to make it "on click" so i can click, draw the railing between the posts and it automatically stretches the linetype object instead of repeating it? The railing segments are varying widths.This is the object i would like the linetype to be created out ofThis is how the linetype would be used. As you can see, there are various railing lengths. If i could make it so all the railing in the red outline is one object, that would be my goal.

This is the case for DYNAMIC BLOCK, not a linetype. It's always straight, isn't it?

If you have no idea how to do that folks HERE would help you...
