Convert STB to XLS or Editing STB with AutoLisp?

I have an assignment at work to modify a bundle of STB files to change all "Black" screenings to "50%" in a number of the files.

Using Google, I found that Cadig supposedly has a converter to Excel, which would probably make my task much easier (vs. manually editing each file), except that all I could find to download was a CTBViewer.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Of course I don't have any idea how to convert an XLS into an STB.  🤔

Well 1st step is throw the stb at a hex dump program/debugger and peek inside. That may be a hint peek & Poke. I know somewhere I have looked at using VL to get each byte of a file. I could be going down the wrong rabbit hole

I've never seen the reverse as a tool though.

Thankyou, Monsieur @pendean ,

I have already received a response from them that the STB converter is temporarily out of order or something.  They will be getting back to me when it is ready.

But I don't know yet if there is a way to convert an XLS to an STB. 😕

Good job, Alan!

I think those are next years lottery winners.  You just have to unsort them according to Victor Borge's secret decryption formulae.

Ran the Unpack option revealed a lot.

How many stb files are we talking about ? You may have changed them all by now ?
