I use Civil3D, and often with Raster objects.
I also find myself deselecting things from a selection set regularly.
By default in basic CAD:
Shift-Click is Deselect
Control-Click is very similar to Click (I cannot discern a difference in behavior)
Once you add the Raster toolkit that installs with Civil3D (and you have an image under where you're working) shift-click becomes Image Select, and the Deselect option gets overridden.
In looking at the CUI setup, it doesn't seem intuitive to adjust the combinations with the primary mouse button.
We can muck around with buttons 3-10 to our hearts' content, but I do not see a tool to edit the "mod key + Primary Mouse button" combinations
Am I mistaken? I very much would like to make ctrl-click deselect always, and that way I can work around Raster Design stealing Shift-Click on occasion.
