BREAKING HATCHING

Hi guys,

If someone can give me a tip on the best way to break a hatch line, by use of a lisp or if the best way is to literally draw lines that intersect the overall hatch and then re hatch it within the smaller segments is fine, just want to know some options.

Below is a snippet of the overall hatch i want to break down to show different areas flowing to different sewers.

thanks

You can draw a boundary between two drainage areas, COPY a Hatch pattern in-place, and TRIM using the boundary, taking off one side of one of the Hatch patterns, and the other side of the other one.

@Kent1Cooper ,

I had no idea you could TRIM a hatch. That was super useful, thanks!

It hasn't always been possible, so it's understandable that users who date back to before it was might not know about it.  I don't know in which version it was introduced.
