please help, 

multiple drawings files and required to change the only width of specific text (attachment), there are more than 1000 drawings....

@Anonymous  If you change your FONTALT variable to "arial.ttf" rather than "simplex", the drawing looks fine:

Or, if these are drawings you got from others, presumably you can also get from them the dgn043.shx font file that is intended for the Text Style of that.  If they're in-house, has that file been lost, or found its way into some folder location where AutoCAD doesn't know to look?
