Automation Error. Description was not provided.

Need some serious help. I have tried multiple uninstalls, reinstalls, folder deletion, etc. and nothing has worked. AutoCAD 2015

The when calling this in VisualLISP:

(vlax-get-or-create-object (strcat "ObjectDBX.AxDbDocument." (substr (getvar "ACADVER") 1 2)))

I get an object with parameters with the <Application> as "Automation Error. Description was not provided."

Does anyone know what this is all about?

Hi Eatmode,

Are you trying to get the "Application" property of AxDbDocument when you get the error "error: Automation Error. Description was not provided."?

Can you please provide more information about what you are doing, perhaps some sample code?
