Automating Length Calculation and Vertex Extraction for Schematic Lines Plant 3D P&ID

Two things:

1. I am wondering if there is a way to calculate the length of a schematic line segment and assign that value as a property of the segment. Specifically, after a line is drawn, can its length be automatically calculated and assigned to a predefined empty property called "Length"?

2. Is it possible to extract the vertices of schematic lines and write them to an Excel file, preferably linked to the tag of the line? This way, the lines and their routing can be identified using the Excel file alone.
