Autocomplete in a DCL list box

In a DCL List_Box, is there a way to start typing and have the list move down to the first occurance of the text entered?

Not that I am aware of (had to try myself both open and collapsed on a popup_list).
Arrow Up/Down will be your best friend.
However, I never considered ampersands "&", but I'll guess they will not work.

I figured as much.
I was hoping there was an easier way than to have another input box to type in value(s) and then filter list and rebuild list_box list.
