Auto cad architect

Im probably posting in the wrong forum, so please excuse this if I am ...

I downloaded a trial of autocad for Mac (I have a Mac!) and subsequently found a tutorial/app on Mac for Autocad Architect ... Looks great, shows me axactly what I would like to do but I didn't realise Autocad architect is a different product and one thats not available on Mac!

My question is ... is it possible to customise Autocad be like / have the same funtionality as  Autocad Architect?

Many thanks

Hi Dave,

I'm not a 'mac' guy, but AutoCAD for mac, does not support many of the Visual LISP functions or the Microsoft ActiveX...

So, It will be really hard to 'customise Autocad be like / have the same funtionality as  Autocad Architect' using only AutoLISP, but it depends on which AutoCAD architecture functionalities you're trying to use in AutoCAD for mac...

Hope this helps,
Henrique

As hmsilva, stated, there may be a limitation in what could be programmed;

and there definately is a limit to how much effort could be invested

in duplication much of Autocad Architect's features.

When I used it, I made many many small routines to reduce steps;

and used the DWGs in 'vanilla' Autocad, but  in doings so,

noticed that much of the Acrhitect made data was not represented fully.

Thanks for your feedback. I decided that it is simpler to borrow a PC and am now trying out Autocad Architecture on windows. I expect I will have more questions!
