Where on the computer is stored the configuration of AVT (For colors, linetypes, etc) ?

Hi

I was wondering anyone know's where the data for the default linetype, color, etc are in VT on Windows ?

Is it managed with a file ASCII or such ?

Trying to standardize things inhouse

TIA

Nothing like that: and not that easy to do.

May I ask, are you just trying to edit the linetype/color defaults to be more inline with your standards?
How many seats of VT?

I'm trying to have everything standardize but the more i dig into this i think the colors are linked to the vehicles ?

The seats of VT ? How many users ?

I'd say around 50 ish.

I really feel that the visual data is stored as a form of XDATA in the VT object

Actually i'd like to to add and share a report here

I could build a default one for my different clients layering and such and deploy everything to our users.

So after playing and reading on this, its obvious to see that the visual reports are all stored in each simulation.

If i create a report (or visual presentation) it has to be in a new template and it will follow the simulation.

It seems that it's not stored externally on the drive somewhere.

Alrighty, found it :

Everything is stored there

To create the file you need to do "Set as default" in the report window in AVT so it creates that .ATX file !

Hope this helps
