I'm preparing for a presentation on AVT for our AutoTURN users. A lot of the YouTube videos on AVT are from 2015 which is fine, for the most part, it doesn't look much different in 2025 and I can follow along without issue.
In one video, they talked about how great the round about tool was. My question to anyone who reads this and has an opinion is: Are the round about tools still relative in 2024 now that that capability is baked into Civil 3D. I couldn't recall when round abouts first came to be in C3D but I do remember all the work arounds for simple curb returns in corridors back in the early days.
So.... does anyone find these tools useful today or has the round about tool in C3D replaced the need for using tool in AVT?

Since it's the same tool, they may remove it from AVT at some point.
Thanks, I didn't spend enough time with it to realize it was the same tool. Jury is still out on AT vs. AVT but so far there has been no opposition or complaints. personally, I like it better than AT. Just takes a bit of time to adjust but... not much.
