Parking stalls numbering

Is it possible to number the parking stalls on the drawing automatically?

Viji

The article was a great help - I even worked out how to get the numbering to become sequential by adjusting the Start Number...:)

Excellent Neil. From the number of views for your threads, I am hoping that others are also benefiting.
Thanks

I hope so

As I mentioned in another thread, there are a multitude of setings etc hidden away where you don't really expect them and the parking standards is a good example as the dialog box has 18 tabs of settings/options.

However, you keep coming up with great answers and videos to ease the pain...:)

Yes. A very informative discussion group. Another question of numbering, can the total for a module be shown? Let me re-phrase that. after reading Neil's sequentialing tip.

when laying out double sided stalls can we show the total number for left and right? what I see now is total left and grand total on the right.

Hi Joe

The Parking Report is a dynamically updated bay count by any or all of the following:- parking standard, bay style, service type, vehicle class and/or parking zone. I assume you wish to create an additional breakdown based on the position of bays in a double row.I am checking with the developers as to whether it is possible.

This picture should help clarify what I want to do.

Hi Joe

Thanks, that makes it clear. The bay numbering is not the utility to summarise the number of bays or types of bays. The Parking Report shown below does but only breaks down the total using the categories shown.

I hope that helps,

Hi Joe

I have provided a link to a short video (3:13) with a workaround to generate a report with bay numbers on either side of a double-sided parking row. This is done by naming the zones.

Google brings me here however Viji's link is dead.   I managed to figured it out and beow are the steps:

  1. You should have a car park like below to be numbered.
    1. TiStars_0-1716509821155.png

  2. Click "Edit Parking Bay" on Parking Ribbon(v2024), and select your carpark above.
    1. TiStars_1-1716509867873.png

  3. Then Select any one of the parking bays
    1. TiStars_2-1716509987823.png

  4. Click 3 dots at the right end of "Bay type" in the pop up windows
    1. TiStars_3-1716510037962.png

  5. Tick "Number bay" in the next window, click OK and clikc OK
    1. TiStars_4-1716510103209.png

  6.  Your numbers would be there.
    1. TiStars_5-1716510187909.png

  7. If you want start number of park bay to be other number like 34, you use "Edit Parking Row" to play with "Start No." setting in it
