Hi, welcome to the forums. This is actually the wrong forum for this question. You want the regular AutoCAD forum. This one is for Visual Basic programming.
That said, when you say "selection box" I think you mean Quick Properties. You can toggle it off using the QPMODE command or by the icon at the bottom of the screen as shown below.
