Double Click loses selection

Hi guys, today AutoCAD is not working right... When I double-click text/mtext, leaders or dimensions, the selection set is lost and the command continues, asking for a selection set. Basically I double click and I get "*cancel* *cancel* _TEXTEDIT" after doubleclicking text and have to re-select the text object I just double clicked. PICKFIRST = 1, MTEXTED = "Internal", DBLCLKEDIT = ON, and the CUI is still the default file... Everything was working fine on last Friday, today it doesn't want to work. Double click tables and attributed blocks works just fine... Any suggestions?

Tripple checked everything and still couldn't figure it out, I wound up just manipulating the CUI file under DoubleClick actions and removing ^C^C_ from TEXTEDIT, then associating TEXTEDIT with Mtext, Text, and Dimensions. Things seem to be in order now, albeit bad to remove the cancel calls (for button use), it works :}
