Adding Autocad Library to Excel

I am creating a sheet set from excel,
it does not recognizes some of the variable type such as
" IAcSmComponent ".
will i have to add AutoCAD library into excel so that excel doesn't treat them as user defined type.if yes then how?
Is there any other way to run sheet set from excel.
I am surprised by the support provided for my previous posts ,I thank you all for helping me out.

to add the AutoCAD library go to (in your VBA IDE)

tools -> references -> AutoCAD Type Library

For AutoCAD 2006, use: add a reference to the AcSmComponents16 1.0 type
library.

For AutoCAD 2007 use: add a reference to the AcSmComponents17 1.0 type
library.

Note that AutoCAD will still need to be installed where ever you are running
the Excel macro. Also, I've never attempted to do SSM API work outside of
AutoCAD's VBA, so I don't know if simply adding the library will work in
Excel.

thank You Robert,
i have added the library but it is not working.
i am in an engineering company.
we have our standard outputs in excel.
from those we were connecting AutoCAD to get an automated drawing.
all the rest has been achieved, namely views ,
viewport ,layouts etc are drawn from excel macros,
just this sheet set is not working.
one more thing we are unable to paste views in the layouts ,
is this possible?
if yes pls guide.
thanks for your help .

It is plain that the Sheet Set Manager can only run from AutoCAD's VBA.
Sorry.
