PutInClipboard of DataObject not storing text value correctly in AutoCAD 2018

In 2013 PutInClipboard of DataObject stores text value correctly while in AutoCAD 2018 it stores "??"

can you please show your code and your dwg-file?

Otherwise we need to spend time to create a dwg, create the code, don't know if that is what you have and then maybe seeing that we can't see any issue. That wasting time and I guess you'll get better/quicker replies if we can check the behavior within seconds and have exact your situation.
