Global keyword

I recently saw the keyword "Global" used in a variable declaration for the
first time. When I highlighted the word and hit F1, the help topic that
came up was for the "Public" keyword. I saw no mention of "Global" in the
aforementioned help topic. Are these two keywords interchangeable?

Thanks,

Chuck

Global is the old school way - I believe still around for backwards
compatibility....

Use Friend, Public, Dim, or Private

Hi Chuck. Another explanation I was given long ago is global was a
'standard' for declaring public objects. I've never used it.

Thanks for the lesson. I wondered if maybe that was the case.

Thanks Jacob. I figured that must be it since the help system took me to
the "Public" keyword.
