Dynamic Block Insertion Glitch

Hello! I have developed a VBA macro used for inserting a multitude of dynamic blocks I've designed. These blocks are put together to create a system of grid lines. I have a dynamic block for the vertical grid lines (fixed X value) and another block for the horizontal grid lines (fixed Y value). Oddly though, the first instance of my blocks seem to have messed up some of their dynamic properties, but only the first instance.

In the pictures provided, I have a simple system of grid lines. One example of the corrupt dynamic properties is the bubble/label visibility. My blocks have dynamic options to toggle the visibility of the bubbles and labels that are displayed. For vertical grid lines, you can display Both, Top Only, or Bottom Only. For horizontal grid lines, you can display Both, Left Only, or Right Only. All grid lines except for the first vertical and the first horizontal grid lines work as they ought to. Any ideas why?

I've tried purging the blocks from the drawing before inserting the blocks and that didn't work. I am able to insert individual grid lines and they work as they ought to. Something is different with the first block that I insert, but I can't figure out what. Please let me know if I need to clarify or provide further information on anything I've described. Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
