Digital CadCard

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this, so please excuse me if it isnt.

I am in the process of creating a Digital CadCard. Its going to be called DigiCad Card. (if you can think of a better name, let me know!)

I've done countless searches to see if something like that exist, and to the best of my google abilites, it doesnt.

So I am here asking for your opinion on the matter.

Is this something you think would be useful?

Besides Scale factors, inverse factors, useable sheet areas, and text sizes what would you like to see in it?

Thanks,

dsm_dude

You might want to explain what a CadCard is.

Am I that old?

A CADCARD is a slide card. You select the drawing scale, and it will show you the following;

Scale Factor

Inverse Multiplier

Text Height

Useable Paper Sizes

Among other settings for dimensions, arrow sizes, etc.

DSM_dude, did you make any progress with the Digital CAD-CARD? My company was asking about CADCARD, but I had never heard of one. After looking it up I thought it was strange that no one had created a mobile app for it.

My Cad Card has been sitting next to my computer since I started using Autocad 10.. Not 2010, just 10.

I'd love to see a digicard as a menu pulldown to be able to check sheet sizes, scales, etc.  If it would also allow you to insert your own title block in the background and as you changed the sheet size, it changed along with it, that would be the bees knees.

Give a man AutoCad, and he'll draw you a floor plan.
Give a man Revit and he'll build you a house.
Give Cadmama a couple of drinks and she'll have everyone singing Rockytop!
