When I try to add a common dialog control to a userform, I get the message "the control could not be created because it is not properly licensed" It look like to me that i dont have properly licensed to use commondialog.... Is anyway i can add commondialog? Thank for your help

Yes, use the windows API function GetOpenFileName. I prefer this than using the common dialog control. Here is a link to an API reference page, http://www.pietschsoft.com/programming/vbapi/ref/index.html. Hope it helps.

Search the ng or read one of my columns if HJohn's advice doesn't get you going.
