Adding controls to a Tabbed Dialog

Hello,
I have been trying to understand using the "Tabbed Dialog" or the "TabStrip" commands for my VB6 program. I can create them on my form, but I can't put anything (buttons, labels, textboxes,...) onto them. The toolbox that contains the diferent tools disappears when I select the tab control. I can't copy and paste commands from the form to the contol either. Maybe it's just my basic misunderstanding of what these controls do that's the problem.

If someone could explain to me how to use a Tabbed Dialog, or TabStrip (which one is better to use?) I would greatly appreciate it. I'm using AutoCAD 2006.

Thanks,
Mark

I'm just trying to create a program that encompasses one subject, but the tabs would give different options for output/input. Would "MultiPage" be even better than "Tabbed Dialog" or "TabStrip"? At least I can get MultiPage to work.
