A2K FATAL ERROR

AutoCAD and other macros in my only VBA project run fine. When I step into a particular macro, before any code has obviously executed, I get an AutoCAD fatal error:

Window:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at 22241d3h

also, at the command line, I get:
Fatal Error 0xC0000005

I can edit the code and there seems to be nothing wrong with it. The macro was running fine this morning and then this started happening. I have found several files that appear to have been modified about the time this occurred:
VB.PIP
VEENUI3.GID
WPCSET.BIF
My macro doesn't access these files. Any ideas?

By the way, I'm running Windows 98. I have downloaded servoce pack 2. A look at ACADSTK.DMP told me the error is related to VBA332.DLL dated 8-19-97.
